I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at California State University-Fullerton. My research focuses on international law and the ethics of war. More broadly, I have interests
​in political theory, IR theory, just war theory, U.S. foreign policy, and nuclear weapons.

I received my Ph.D. in Political Science at Ohio State University in 2013. Previously, I have taught at Kenyon College and Williams College. From 2014-2015, I was a MacArthur Postdoctoral Fellow in Nuclear Security at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) at Stanford University.
